How It All Began

Red's The One And Only BBQ was founded in 2010 by Red himself, a passionate pitmaster who believed that great barbecue starts with quality meat, patience, and love. What began as a small backyard smoker has grown into one of Ferguson's most beloved barbecue destinations.

Red's dream was simple: to bring authentic, charcoal-grilled St. Louis style barbecue to his community. Using family recipes passed down through generations, Red perfected his craft, focusing on the perfect balance of smoke, spice, and tenderness.
